What is an Adaptive or Supported Dove Hunt?

Adaptive/Supported Dove Hunts are designed for those 10 and older with disabilities to receive support in transportation or utilize equipment, such as EcoRovers, to navigate the terrain and hunt independently. Key elements include:

  • An overview and trial time for available adaptive equipment and time to use the equipment to become familiar with it.
  • 1 morning hunt session
  • Flexibility for new, returning, or novice hunters.
  • Transportation to locations.
  • Assistance retrieving harvested game.

We highly suggest that hunters bring an adult buddy with them to the event for any personal or advanced medical needs. Mobility-impaired youth, ages 10-17, MUST have an adult always present with them.
