 Details

Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center is a premier hunting and shooting education facility. The center boasts 6,400 acres and is managed for game species such as deer, turkey, small game, and doves. This area is centrally located in the state near Mansfield, Georgia making it easily accessible from Atlanta, Athens, and Macon. Along with many outdoor activities to enjoy on-site, the center has 28 lodge-style rooms, conference rooms, and a dining hall. The Youth Hunt and Learn program includes: a safety briefing, deer hunt overview, range time, guided hunts on Saturday and Sunday, a discussion on deer biology, habitat, and behavior. Participants will also learn how to field dress a deer with any harvest. Participant fee is $130 per person, youth must apply and list attending parent/guardian.
