The Buck Shoals Wildlife Management Area is located in White County. This 582-acre property exclusively offers youth hunting and fishing events.  Participants arrive Friday at 4 p.m. at Buck Shoals Wildlife Management Area to attend a safety briefing, turkey hunting overview, and practice shooting proficiency. Participants will hunt with guides Saturday morning and evening and again on Sunday morning. Saturday afternoon will include a lesson in turkey biology, habitat, and behavior. Participants will be educated on how to clean a turkey with any harvested birds. Participants will depart by noon on Sunday. Camping on-site is optional.  Participant fee is $90 per person. Youth must apply and list attending parent/guardian.
