This course is intended for youth 10 years to 16 years of age that have never shot or have limited experience with archery equipment. Youth will be provided with a hands-on introduction to the basics of archery safety, parts and operation of bows and arrows, shooting fundamentals, and maintenance of archery equipment. Youth will have the chance to shoot Genesis bows which can be adjusted to fit almost any shooter.
This short 2 hour class (1 hour of classroom instruction/ 1 hour of actual shooting) will follow the 11 Steps to Archery Success as presented in the National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) that is offered in participating schools in and around Georgia.
Youth must have an Adult guardian (age 18 or older) with them to participate.
