Mom - Look What We Have For You for Mother's Day!
Join other moms and families at this limited availability free event offering a fun day of trout fishing on Smith Creek at Unicoi State Park. Experts will be on hand to offer assistance as you wet a line at this stocked trout stream. Kids are welcome to assist in stocking! Spinning rods, reels, and lures provided. Only 50 “mom” spots available (additional family members welcome), so don’t hesitate – register today! Once you register here, you will receive an email confirming your spot for the event.
Additional Information: Parking and Restrooms available on site. There is a parking fee ($5) at Georgia State Parks. All participating family members (age 16 or older) must have a current freshwater fishing license and a trout license. Licenses available at GoOutdoorsGeorgia.com.
What to Wear and Bring: Wear comfortable clothes and hard-soled shoes (sneakers or water shoes). You may want to bring some snacks or a sack lunch, water, sunscreen, a hat, cash for the parking fee, extra clothes, and a towel (just in case you get wet).
