What is an Adaptive Dove Hunting
Event?
The Clybel WMA Adaptive Dove Hunt is
designed for those 10 and older to utilize adaptive equipment, such as
EcoRovers, to navigate the woods and hunt independently. Key elements include:
Adaptive equipment is available.
Flexibility for new, returning, or
novice hunters as guides/mentors can be requested.
Hunt and Learn, along with limited
housing/meal options are available for $75. The Hunt and Learn includes
safety briefings and range time, a dove hunt overview, a guided hunt on
Saturday morning, and a discussion of dove identification, biology, habitat,
and behavior. Due to conference center planning, if you wish to join in this

Game limits will be based on location
and state regulations.
We highly suggest that hunters bring
an adult buddy with them to the event for any personal or advanced medical
needs. Mobility-impaired youth, ages 10-17, MUST have an adult always present
with them.
How does the application and selection
process work?
For the one day hunt complete the
application by Sept 10th, 2025, and you’ll be notified by September 11th.
For the Hunt and Learn or add on
housing and meals ($75) complete the application and contact Linda Eipper by
August 20th. You’ll be
notified by August 25th.
Staff will review applications as
received; if necessary, a non-point lottery system will be used, and a waitlist
applied.
Site-specific details will be emailed
to participants.

Disclaimer: Everyone’s application for this event will be
reviewed, with participation spots being awarded no less than 2 weeks before
for those wishing to have housing or take part in the educational program due
to conference center planning. One day event participants may be added up
to 2 days before with no meals or overnight stay.
