Please be aware that Hunt & Learns are geared towards new hunters with little to no hunting experience looking for a safe, educational learning environment. Experienced hunters may apply, but preference will be given to those that fit the program criteria. If registration numbers allow, others may be considered.

Three-day rabbit Hunt & Learn for 6 youth hunters (10- to 16-years old) accompanied by a parent/guardian. The Youth Hunt & Learn program includes: a safety briefing, hunt overview, guided hunts on Saturday and Sunday, a discussion of rabbit biology, habitat, and behavior, as well as hunting techniques. Care of harvested game will also be demonstrated. Registration is $200 per person ($400.00 total for youth with parent) and includes 2 nights lodging (parent/guardian and child share a room) and 5 meals (each) at the CEWC Conference Center.

To apply, youth hunters will need their own GA-DNR Customer Account. Parents can place their email address in the child's profile page to ensure they receive communications about the event.
